We have double en-suite chalets which can accommodate up to 4 guests ... a number of smaller chalets that accommodates up to 2 guests and larger size chalets, which are ideal for big families.
CAMPING:
We also have a camping site, offering excellent facilities such as ablutions, bathrooms with showers, power outlets for your electrical equipment and a braai stand.

HISTORY OF MACANETA RESORT:
The founder of Macaneta Holiday Resort was Late Mr. Dalpate Ambaramo. He used to come to Macaneta for Fishing from 1962. Slowly and gradually he opened a Snack Bar and Restaurant in 1972. From there on he decided to open a Resort. After the death of Mr. Dalpate Ambaramo his elder son Mr. Americo Ambaramo took the Responsibility of Fulfilling his Father's Dream. Today the Resort has more than 14 Chalets with 5 star amenities. The Friendly environment in Macaneta Resort makes you feel that you are in your home.
The name Macaneta had come into lime light due to the efforts of Late Mr. Dalpate Ambaramo. Thus from there the resort was named as Macaneta Holiday resort, as it was first resort started in Macaneta Island.
